I hope everyone’s week has been going well! For me, I am trying to prepare myself for the 6 straight days of rain that San Diego is planning to get. That’s one thing I was looking forward to leaving back in Georgia, but it looks like the rain followed us here! 🙁
It’s crazy to think that another month is about to pass us by and we’re getting closer to Valentine’s Day. In light of that, I wanted to share this adorable pink blouse with you all!
Over the years I’ve noticed that I don’t really own many things that are pink. If I do, it’s usually a paler pink, nothing too vibrant. However, this blouse had me “oohing” and “aahing.” There are so many great details about this blouse that drew me in, the most obvious being the lace sleeves.
Lately I have been a sucker for some elaborate sleeves. Nothing new with this one! It’s extremely fun and flirty and perfect to wear alone, so you can let the sleeves make a statement. In addition to the sleeves, I also liked the criss-cross neck in the front of the shirt.
I mean, how cute is this top?? It really exudes that bohemian look with the bell lace sleeves and the criss-cross details in the front. Perfect to be wearing around SoCal! I decided to put together a really casual look with this blouse. I probably wouldn’t wear this top to a formal event so I wanted to coordinate an outfit that I would actually wear and not just for my blog.
I just purchased these straight legged jeans and I am in love! For the longest time I only wore skinny jeans, nothing else. Recently I’ve decided to venture out of my comfort zone and slowly make my way to flared jeans. This is a start! They’re extremely comfortable and it has a higher waist, perfect for tucking in a blouse such as this one.
What I love about this look is how comfortable I felt in it. If you guys have been following me from the start, you are well aware that I dress for comfort. If I feel uncomfortable and not confident in myself in a particular outfit, odds are I’ll never wear it again. I like to refer to these jeans as my “mom jeans” 🙂
I hope everyone has enjoyed this post! As always, I have linked each of these pieces below. I couldn’t find the exact jeans I purchased from H&M but I made sure to link similar ones.
Thanks for reading!
