Happy Hump Day! I am currently sitting at home, sick with laryngitis. I woke up yesterday feeling awful, coughing a ton, and then I realized I lost my voice completely! I spent the majority of the day yesterday sitting in the waiting room at Urgent Care to find out that I have laryngitis.. how does one even get laryngitis?? So here I am, sitting at home trying to rest my voice so that I can get back to work.
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you all one of my most recent looks – Coachella inspired! As you all know, Coachella is a huge music festival enjoyed by music lovers all over the world, celebrities included. The style trends for Coachella has been pretty much the same, bohemian with a vintage flare. You see a lot of lace, crochet, cut offs, flower prints, etc. I came across this maxi dress that I felt would be a perfect casual look for Coachella weekend.
Tom and I took a drive up to Ramona, the country-side of San Diego. The drive was beautiful! Mountains that went on for miles, acres of green grass, small quaint towns – less than an hour drive from the hustle and bustle of the city. We decided to pull off onto the side of the road to take some shots, I love how you can see the mountains in the distance.
This dress is so easy to love! The maxi is long sleeve so it’s perfect for the cool nights in San Diego, and it has several crochet details throughout it. The dress fits very loose so it looks flattering on any body shape, nothing clings. I also love the V-neck cut, it’s lower than some of the other dresses I have but I still felt very bohemian in it.
There are so many different accessories you could add to this dress to make it Coachella ready. Some options include: layered necklaces, chokers, a hat, flower crown, etc. And don’t forget some cute temporary tattoos or fun face paint!
This maxi dress is a great alternative to some of the popular looks at Coachella, such as high-waisted shorts or body suits. This maxi is definitely the most comfortable and very light-weight so you won’t get too warm while dancing. Needless to say, I am head over heels in love with this dress!
This is another piece that I got from SheIn, seriously my favorite place to shop right now. The dress is usually $51.00 but it’s currently on sale for only $35! What a steal! I’ve ordered a few other pieces, getting ready to transition into Spring clothes. As always, SheIn offers all the current trends but for half the price.
I hope you all have enjoyed this look and hope it has inspired you to shop with SheIn, you won’t regret it!
