Hi guys! First and foremost, thank you for stopping by my blog, I am so glad you’re here! My name is Brenda and I was born in upstate New York, moved down to Georgia around age 11 where I lived for 16 years and am now residing in San Diego. I was inspired to create this blog in September 2015 with the help of my amazing husband! I have never really been the type of person who imagines up great things and goes after it, I’m slightly afraid of failure and tend to not take the risk. However, my husband encouraged me to share my love for fashion, travel, and life through blogging and I am so glad I listened to him! I wasn’t quite sure what my target would be when I started to blog because I enjoy every part of life, which is why I decided to just blog about MY life. That is when Life with B was created 🙂
Ever since I was a young girl my mom would dress me up in big dresses, stockings, and pretty shoes. I started to appreciate fashion at a very young age! As I grew older I began to experiment with different styles such as tomboy, hipster, preppy, and feminine. Now that I am in my mid-20’s and know what looks best on my body, I really enjoy the casual & feminine look. I am not one to wear revealing clothing, I would choose a baggy sweater over a plunging neckline any day! I love Marshalls, H&M, Gap, J.Crew and any store with a great clearance rack. My mission is to share affordable, achievable and inspiring looks with all my readers.
One thing I have loved for as long as I can remember is traveling. My dad always talks about how he used to ask me what I wanted to do when I grew up, and I would tell him I just wanted to travel the world. Looks like not much has changed since then! My husband and I love to travel and explore new places, we have so many places that we want to visit before we settle down. I intend to share all my travel experiences on LWB as well as tips and recommendations on what to do.
Overall, this blog was built to share my journey through life. As we all know, life can be difficult but it’s what you learn along the way that makes it all worth it. I hope you join me in this adventure & follow along!
